February 15th -Rad Der Stadt – First Sponsor of Synergy`s Project 3:59. Rad der Stadt is he first official sponsor of our ambitious Project 3:59 Rad der Stadt is a bike shop in the heart of Berlin, which will provide the needed equipment for our record-breaking attempt over the ironman distance triathlons in Roth and Glücksburg (both in Germany).

February 10th - Synergy ProTraining and „Berlin-Trikot“ Partner Up.After only a couple meetings between Synergy ProTraining and Henning Bommel, the creator of Berlin-Trikot the partnership for 2010 is a sealed deal. “Berlin Trikot” (Trikot = Jersey) is a team kit, which displays local businesses that operate in the field of cycling or those that want to support the Berlin cycling community. Every customer of Berlin-Trikot receives countless benefits from the supporting companies. And last but not least, the Berlin-Trikot bike wear is a high quality and very good-looking cycling outfit.

January 12th -Synergy ProTraining is Main Sponsor of „Velox Berlin“It`s official: Synergy is the first main sponsor of the emerging club team Velox Berlin, which is based in Berlin, Germany. Synergy will provide assistance for Velox team members in the field of bike fitting, coaching and performance testing. We want to help Berlin`s road racing scene back to old glory by sponsoring this young team, which mainly supports young local talents. The 2010 season will be the first one for the newly formed team. September 12th - Senska secures another World Championship Title
At the Road World Championships for the handicapped, which were held in Milan, Italy this year Pierre Senska was able to climb all the way to the top of the podium and repeated his victory from 2007. Despite suffering from a cold Pierre managed to win the sprint out of a three-man breakaway. Two days before he started well into this year`s world championships by taking 5th place in the individual time trial competition. The Synergy-Team congratulates and whishes good luck for the upcoming Worlds on the track.

August 2nd - 180km in 4:30h - Richard Geng, founder of Synergy ProTraining took part in the relay race of this year`s Ostseeman, an triathlon over the ironman distance. With no special preparation except for a Synergy Bike Fitting he was able to claim the third best time out of more than 600 athletes over the 180 (112,5 miles)kilometer time trial distance including more than 1200m (4000 ft) of climbing. His time was just slightly over 4:30h, which equals an average speed of 40 km/h (25 miles/h). Next year Synergy ProTraining will have its own relay team attempting to finish the 180 in 3:59h. July 27th - Simon Geschke, a first year pro riding for the Dutch Pro Continental Team Skil Shimano finished his first Tour de France. He was able to get through probably the hardest three weeks of racing a pro cyclist can possibly have and safely crossed the finish line in Paris. We think he has earned the right to maybe stay off the bike for one or two days.
